Oliver Berman: I gave it my all!

      Oliver Bearman just missed out on reaching the qualifying final in Monza...

      Oliver Bearman (11th): "I'm happy with my lap. You can always find a bit more, but I gave it 100%! It's frustrating that I was only just short of making the final, but the result shows we worked well in practice — yesterday I didn't expect to be able to climb so high.

      Yesterday we significantly improved the car, so that's great, and as for tomorrow I also have a good feeling, as the car performed very well with a heavy fuel load."

      Esteban Ocon (15th): "A disappointing qualifying. The first session was difficult — we couldn't find the right position on track to avoid traffic, and in the second the car behaved worse; at high speed there was a lack of turn-in.

      Overall, the sensations were similar to what I felt at the start of the year. We need to find out what went wrong, and hope it doesn't happen again tomorrow."
