The Williams fan zone has already opened in Singapore.

We've already told you that in Singapore they do everything to make the national round of the World Championship not just another Formula 1 race but a real festival — and not only of motorsport.

But a variety of interesting events dedicated to the upcoming Grand Prix will take place every day of the week starting Monday.

Tourists arriving in Singapore can already admire the Aston Martin F1 show car in Changi Airport’s Terminal 3, where it is displayed not by the team but by its partner — the famous Scottish whisky maker.

Of course, those who wish can taste that noble drink in various ages right there. Moreover, anyone who spends money on three cocktails containing that whisky or orders three glasses will automatically get a chance to win a VIP invitation to the season finale in Abu Dhabi.

This morning the Williams fan zone opened in the Central Atrium on Raffles Boulevard leading toward the track. Since the Singapore Grand Prix is the closest to Thailand, the team considers this race a “home” event for Alex Albon, so the fan zone will be open not until Sunday as usual, but until next Tuesday.

On different days leading up to the Grand Prix there will be meet-and-greets with him, with Jenson Button, with team principal James Vowles, and with American driver Leigh Block, who competes with Williams’ support in the F1 Academy women’s series.

In the fan zone you can take a close look at the FW47 show car, which reproduces a real Formula 1 car in every detail. And then compare it with last year’s full-size car model made from more than 400,000 Lego bricks. By the way, it’s not just a big toy but what is called a “running model,” because Williams drivers actually drove a lap in it on the Miami Grand Prix track last May during the Drivers’ Parade.

But in these days you can attend meetings not only with Williams representatives but with other teams around Singapore as well. For example, tomorrow Lando Norris will appear at Plaza Singapura mall to take part in a sponsor event, as he is one of the ambassadors for Ralph Lauren Fragrances.

At another mall, ION Orchard, there will be a meet-and-greet with Isack Hadjar on Wednesday, organized by sponsors of the Racing Bulls team. In fact, throughout the week you can admire the VCARB 02 show car there.

In the Adidas flagship store, also in ION Orchard, Kimi Antonelli will make an appearance on Thursday. However, the exact time of his visit has not yet been announced, nor is it known whether fans can expect to get an autograph from the Mercedes rookie, who, like Hadjar, will be making his first appearance on the challenging Marina Bay street circuit.

The time of Charles Leclerc’s visit to the local Puma flagship store, one of Ferrari’s sponsors, has also not yet been confirmed, but it is known that this will also take place on Thursday. There’s no doubt a large crowd will turn out to see him — the Singapore public remembers that he has already stood on the podium twice at this race. Whether Charles will manage the same in 2025 is a big question — his rivals are very strong — but there is no doubt he will give it his all.
