Lawson: The training didn't go as I had expected.

Isack Hadjar posted the second-fastest time in the second practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix, finishing less than two-tenths of a second behind leader Oscar Piastri. The Racing Bulls driver said he enjoyed the street circuit, where he had not previously competed.

His teammate Liam Lawson managed to complete ten laps before crashing the car exiting turn 17, prompting the red flags.

Isack Hadjar (2nd): "Today I drove in Singapore for the first time. It was great, and I felt comfortable in the car. I really liked the track, and the car was quick.

The second practice wasn't the easiest because of the traffic. I did my quick laps towards the end of the session, but the result was good.

At the moment we are having trouble getting a new set of tyres to work straight away on the first quick lap. Over the remaining days of the weekend we need to work on this area."

Liam Lawson (17th): "The second practice went nothing like I expected. In turn 16 I rode the kerb harder than I should have, and as a result in turn 17 my speed was higher and I hit the wall.

Overall the car was quick today despite a difficult first practice. We tried different setup options, and in the second session I felt more comfortable in the car up until the moment the session ended for me.

Before Saturday the team will make some setup adjustments based on the information I gathered today. In qualifying we'll try to do everything we can."
