McLaren Racing and Google have extended their contract

McLaren Racing has announced the extension of its partnership with Google, under which the AI-powered Gemini assistant will become a central element of the collaboration with the team.

McLaren is using Gemini to make better use of AI to help the team maximize fan engagement, work smarter and faster, and unlock new ways to deliver a competitive advantage on race day.

Over the course of the Las Vegas weekend, Google will showcase Gemini's creative potential with dynamic creative on the Sphere screen that will transform the McLaren car in real time into a range of visual styles — from oil painting to technical drawing.

Zak Brown, Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Racing: "Our partnership with Google has always been built on shared values. The introduction of Gemini is a new phase that will help us explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence to improve the team's efficiency on and off the track. Google is an incredible partner, and we look forward to continuing to work with them to drive innovation and excellence."
