Antonelli participated in the evening dedicated to Senna.
On Saturday, March 21, Kimi Antonelli participated in the traditional evening dedicated to Ayrton Senna's birthday, held for the fourth consecutive year in Imola at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack museum.
"I am very happy to be part of an evening dedicated to this legendary driver, thank you for the invitation!" said the winner of the recent Chinese Grand Prix. "What struck me about Ayrton's personality is that he did a lot for the good of the people in Brazil, for his country. He immediately became a source of inspiration for me. I am doing what I have dreamed of my whole life, and I want to do everything possible to achieve my goal."
The evening gathered more than three hundred fans who were interested in meeting representatives from the world of motorsport across different generations – from Kimi Antonelli to Giancarlo Minardi, the founder of the Minardi team, which competed in Formula 1 from 1985 to 2005.
"Senna often appeared in my motorhome, but I usually gave him advice on topics unrelated to Formula 1," shared the memories of the 78-year-old veteran of Italian motorsport. Also among the guests of the evening were Riccardo Patrese and French driver Eric Comas, who raced for teams such as Ligier and Larrouse in the early 90s.
Of course, Kimi was signing autographs and answering questions at the evening, and he mentioned that he is looking forward to the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix: "I can't wait to get to the start, as the next two races will take place on tracks that I really like."
