Max Verstappen won the race at the Nürburgring.

Max Verstappen's team secured a confident victory in the 4-hour NLS series race at the Nürburgring's Nordschleife. At the start, he was unable to maintain the lead, and Christopher Haase, the factory Audi driver, moved ahead; however, the blue R8 LMS GT3 EVO II held the first position only for the first six laps before Max overtook him. Immediately after that, both cars entered the pit lane, and Dani Juncadella took over from Verstappen at the wheel of the Mercedes AMG GT3. Although the Audi with the number 16 returned to the track first, the Spaniard soon regained the leading position for the Winward Racing team. There were brief periods when another car moved ahead, but this was mainly due to the scheduled pit visits of car number 3. Throughout the remaining three hours of the race, Verstappen, Juncadella, and Jules Gounon controlled the pace, built a comfortable lead, and ultimately, Max crossed the finish line almost a minute ahead of the nearest pursuers. "The whole weekend was about adapting to the car at Nordschleife," he commented as he got out of the Mercedes in Red Bull colors. "I really enjoyed it, especially since the team prepared the car excellently, allowing us to test it properly. I felt quite comfortable behind the wheel, and I had a great experience... The track is magnificent, the fans are truly passionate, and it's very nice to see! I'm glad to be a part of all this."
