NLS: Verstappen's crew has problems, he is far behind.

Max Verstappen confidently started the Sunday race at the Nürburgring's Nordschleife – he overtook one of his rivals right at the start, and within the first half hour, he dealt with three more and took the lead. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 in Red Bull colors held this position until the first pit stop, although Max had to fend off attacks from Christopher Haase, who was driving a very fast Audi R8 LMS GT3 with the number 16. During the first pit stop, the Verstappen Racing team drivers did not change, and Max continued the race; however, after a while, he was forced to return to the pits because the front part of the car was damaged, with the splitter suffering the most. There is no exact information on what caused this, but it is likely that when Max aggressively attacked the corners, the car partially went off the track several times, where it could have hit some bumps on the edge. In any case, Verstappen complained about strong vibrations coming from the splitter, which could have led to more serious consequences. Verstappen's and Lukas Auer's sports car sat in the garage for at least twenty minutes, after which, of course, dreams of a good result had to be abandoned. The Austrian continued the race, as it is important to gain as much experience as possible and prepare as well as possible for the May marathon of the "24 Hours of Nürburgring." Less than an hour remains until the finish of the race, Auer, trailing the leader by more than three laps, is in a distant 48th position, although he is driving at a pace similar to the top ten. Meanwhile, a battle for victory is underway between British driver Ben Green, Haase's teammate from the Scherer Sport team, and Patrick Niederhauser, an experienced Swiss endurance racing master driving the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2 from the ABT Sportsline team.
