Max Verstappen received a 5-second penalty.

The stewards of the Miami Grand Prix reviewed Max Verstappen's actions during the race when he crossed the white line upon exiting the pit lane. After watching video footage of the moment from different angles, the stewards determined that at the moment of exiting the pit lane, "the outer side of the front left tire crossed the outer side of the solid white line at the pit lane exit." This is a violation of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 6 c) of the International Sporting Code. As a penalty, 5 seconds were added to Max's final result. The penalty did not affect the Red Bull Racing driver's result. Verstappen finished fifth in the Miami Grand Prix finishing protocol. In all other hearings, including the collision between Liam Lawson and Pierre Gasly, the stewards issued negative verdicts – none of the drivers were penalized.
