Wolf: We must respond to the progress of our competitors.

At the Canadian Grand Prix, Mercedes arrives leading both championship standings, which hasn't happened since 2019, and Toto Wolff assured that his team has no intention of slowing down.

Toto Wolff, team principal: "We are heading to Canada and ready to get back into a normal racing rhythm. In Miami, our competitors made a step forward, and we need to respond to that.

In the ten weekends leading up to the summer break in the championship, there will be seven Grands Prix, which gives us the opportunity to take the necessary measures and continue to gain momentum. We are bringing to Montreal the first set of technical updates this year, while understanding that only the improvements in performance confirmed by results on the track matter.

Although the second half of May has already begun, only four races of this season are behind us. There is still a long way to go until the end of the year, and while the Canadian weekend is important in its own way, it will not determine the outcome of the championship.

Our task is to stay calm, continue learning, and act as clearly and cohesively as possible every weekend. We will not celebrate too exuberantly if we achieve success, but we also try not to get too upset on days of failure – this applies equally to our drivers and the entire team."
