In Canada, a new attendance record for the Grand Prix.
The organizers of the Canadian Grand Prix report that a new attendance record was set during the past weekend. In 2024, 345,000 spectators attended the three-day race weekend at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit, in 2025 – 352,000, and in 2026 – 360,000. The organizers attribute the increase in attendance partly to the fact that the event was held in a format with a Saturday sprint, so the stands were filled as early as Friday. The attendance record belongs to Silverstone, where last year 500,000 fans attended the three-day weekend at the circuit.
