Bottas commented on the rumors of his dismissal from Cadillac.
After the Canadian Grand Prix, rumors emerged in the press that Cadillac is dissatisfied with Valtteri Bottas's performances, and therefore the Finn could be fired during the season. Team principal Graham Loudon quickly denied the rumors, and in Monaco, the press asked Valtteri himself what he thought about it.
Valtteri Bottas: "Rumors are not new, and they are part of the sport. It's a shame that someone makes up nonsense, but in the current situation, it's normal. I know my situation, the team knows my situation, and they support me 100%. So there are no problems on my side, everything is fine."
When asked about the purpose of spreading such rumors, Bottas was brief: "For a catchy headline and clicks. That's my theory."
