The stewards of the Monaco Grand Prix issued a warning and fined the Williams team for an incident in the pit lane involving Alex Albon and Arvid Lindblad during qualifying.

After reviewing the circumstances of the incident, watching video footage, and hearing from the drivers and team representatives, the stewards determined that Carlos Sainz's car was stationary in front of the Williams garages when Alex Albon approached. Alex drove around his teammate's car, thereby briefly obstructing Arvid Lindblad from entering the pit stop. In the process, Lindblad nearly ran over the foot of one of the mechanics working on Albon's car.

Williams acknowledged that they could have acted differently in that episode, so the team received a formal warning and was fined 5,000 euros for a potential safety threat.
