In Madrid, they promise to complete all work on time.
The Spanish Grand Prix this year will take place on September 13, and two weeks before that, a state inspection will be held on the new city circuit in Madrid. The organizers promise to complete all work on time.
Carlos Jimenez, Operations Director: "Construction has been ongoing for eleven months, and it took twelve to obtain the permits. Now the most challenging part, not counting the railway interchange, is completed. The southern section is laid out, and the northern section will be finished in three weeks.
Probably, in two weeks we will start building temporary structures, grandstands, and hospitality areas. We will have to work at night, but we have all the necessary permits for that. The construction license allows us to work around the clock."
The FIA has already conducted two inspections of Madrid, and the third will take place in mid-August.
