Max Verstappen: The Red Bull car is the fourth fastest.

      After the race in Barcelona, four-time world champion Max Verstappen assessed the power dynamics among the leaders. The Red Bull Racing driver believes his team is fourth in terms of speed.

      Max Verstappen: "We were a bit lacking in speed during the race. When it comes to strategy, everything was done correctly here. At least for me, the tire choice turned out to be right because the Hard compound didn't work well.

      I think our problems are particularly noticeable in fast corners, and this was evident from the qualifying results. On tracks with high tire wear and degradation, we still lack pace.

      Overall, we remain the fourth fastest team. Changes in settings won't fix the situation – the results on different tracks won't change if we can't improve. It all depends on whether we can gain pace through updates.

      That's the current season. Whoever brings effective updates takes a step forward. The only question is whose innovations will prove to be the most effective. It's clear that we are still behind Ferrari, Mercedes, and McLaren, as we finished behind representatives of each of those teams.

      At the moment, we remain the fourth strongest team. The situation may have improved slightly, but we are not yet in the positions we want to be in. The team continues to work on this."
