      In the morning on race day, former Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner returned to the Formula 1 paddock as a guest. Horner was dismissed almost exactly a year ago, on July 9, 2025. Later, Christian negotiated the terms of his departure and officially left the company in September. Since then, Horner had not been in the Formula 1 paddock, but he attended other motorsport events, including MotoGP rounds. Now that his mandatory leave after parting ways with Red Bull is over, he can look for a new job in Formula 1, but nothing has been confirmed in this regard yet.
