Negotiations have taken place regarding the return of the Bahrain Grand Prix.
At the beginning of the season, the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were canceled due to the war in the Middle East. We wrote that serious efforts are currently being made to bring them back.
Yesterday in Silverstone, Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa held talks with the leadership of the FIA and Formula 1, including Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali and FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, about the possible holding of the Bahrain Grand Prix this fall. One of the possible dates is October 2-4, between the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but unofficial information suggests that the negotiations were successful and a deal is close to being finalized.
