Due to the late start of the second practice, the organizers were forced to ask spectators to leave the stands. The reason is that the work shift of the track security staff had already ended, making it impossible to conduct the practice with fans in the stands. After this, a group of spectators filed a collective lawsuit against Liberty Media, which is not only the owner of the commercial rights to Formula 1 but also the promoter of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Liberty Media has now proposed to settle the dispute out of court. The company is ready to allocate $3,047,986 for payments to fans, which will be distributed among the participants of the collective lawsuit. At the same time, the agreement proposed for fans to sign specifically states that the payment of compensations does not constitute an admission of guilt on the part of Liberty Media.
