Lindblad: This year I am living my dream!

      The only debutant of the season, Arvid Lindblad, is pleased with how everything is unfolding and is happy – his dream of Formula 1 has come true…

      Arvid Lindblad: “In many ways, reality has exceeded my expectations. I am only in my first season in Formula 1, but I have already experienced so many wonderful moments! We have an amazing team. I was welcomed very warmly and they really helped me.

      I have already said that this year I am living my dream. I have dreamed of racing in Formula 1 since childhood, and now I find myself here. The first race in Melbourne was especially memorable; the entire debut weekend – it was incredible. Before the start, I got a bit emotional, but quickly pulled myself together.

      Then there were races on unfamiliar tracks; I raced in Shanghai and Suzuka, and I thought about how I often chose these tracks in Formula 1 games, and now I am actually racing on them. In real life, it is much more interesting than on the computer!

      The next moment that truly impressed me was the home race in Silverstone. I have watched this race on television so many times! I remember standing on the starting grid and asking myself if this was really happening to me?”
