Zak Brown: Fornari has chances in Formula 1

      Leonardo Fornaroli joined the McLaren youth program in December last year and has already participated multiple times in Formula 1 car tests – both from previous years and the current ones during the first practices in Barcelona and Hungary.       Zak Brown: “I think Fornaroli has a chance in Formula 1. He is fast and talented. He has done several tests with us and made a great impression. I hope he can sign a contract. He is absolutely suited for Formula 1.”

      Leonardo Fornaroli: “Yes, there are chances, we are trying to realize them, but right now I am fully focused on the current work. There is a lot to be done.

      Formula 1 is a completely different world. It’s the place where you start your career as a professional driver. There is much more staff, much more work, the pressure is much higher, but I like it.

      We have big plans for the second half of the season. More tests, more Friday practices, more hours on the simulator. And more opportunities to work with Lando and Oscar – I need to learn a lot from them.”
