      A tres pruebas del final de la temporada, Sauber ocupa el penúltimo puesto en el Campeonato de Constructores, pero los resultados están ajustados: hasta los Racing Bulls en sexto lugar hay apenas veinte puntos. Sin embargo, Nico Hülkenberg considera que será difícil recuperar terreno.

      Nico Hülkenberg: «En Las Vegas hay un circuito decente, pero la prueba se disputa demasiado tarde, al final del año, cuando aquí hace demasiado frío. Eso resta un poco de disfrute. ¡Imaginen si hiciera alrededor de 20 grados! A todos nos iría mucho mejor.

      Sin embargo, no creo que eso vaya a influir en la distribución de fuerzas: estaremos peleando en posiciones similares contra los mismos rivales.

      Recuperar veinte puntos es casi imposible. A juzgar por los últimos resultados, harían falta circunstancias especiales para que pudiéramos recortar. Si las carreras transcurren con normalidad y los pilotos de los equipos punteros no tienen problemas, recuperar veinte puntos es muy difícil.

      ¿El desgaste de los neumáticos? No sé cómo será. La situación es la misma para todos. El desgaste será el que sea!»
