Austrian Grand Prix: Changes on the track and DRS zones

      On the eve of the Austrian Grand Prix, the FIA spoke about the changes on the track and confirmed the location of the three DRS zones.

      The asphalt was replaced in the pit lane compared to last year. In the eighth turn, the position of the white line has been changed. The gravel area between the ninth and tenth turns has been increased and now ends closer to the tenth turn.  In the fourth turn, new concrete blocks with mesh fencing have been installed on the left side.

      There are three independent DRS zones left in Spielberg. The first point of measurement of the interval between cars is located 160 meters before the first turn, and the activation point is 102 meters after it.

      The second measuring point is 40 meters before the third turn, and the activation point is 100 meters after it.

      The third measuring point is 120 meters before the tenth turn, and the activation point is 106 meters after it.
