Gina Schumacher continues to win in equestrian sports.
It may seem that just recently the world media reported that Gina Schumacher became a mother, and her father, seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, became a grandfather. But only 17 weeks have passed, and she returned to the saddle and continued to compete successfully in reining events.
Gina has long been passionate about this equestrian sport, which is also called Western riding or cowboy dressage, achieved much in it, and has just won another gold medal, competing for Germany alongside teammates Elias Ernst and Johannes Gaille.
At the competition held in Switzerland at CS Ranch, a ranch owned by the Schumacher family, the German trio took first place in the prestigious Senior Professional Riders class on Friday.
“I was more nervous than usual. In team competitions, the pressure is at a different level. Not everything depends solely on you here, but others rely on you,” Gina commented after her successful performance.
She shared several photos taken yesterday on her social media pages, and of course, numerous fans congratulated her, including among the several thousand people who did so was Mik Schumacher, Gina’s younger brother, who left a short comment consisting of just one word: “Magnificent!”
By the way, Mik is also busy this weekend with a serious matter: as part of the factory team Alpine Endurance Team, he is participating in the “6 Hours of São Paulo,” a Brazilian stage of the World Endurance Championship.
