McNish: Max is exploring what options are available besides Red Bull.

Alan McNish, a three-time Le Mans winner who has also competed in Formula 1, is convinced that Max Verstappen is exploring various career options and weighing which team might make him an attractive offer. "It's clear that Red Bull is interested in keeping Max," McNish said. "I don't know what his contract stipulates or what conditions he has to meet, but it's obvious that he's assessing other possibilities. Currently, Red Bull isn't performing as they did in previous years, and it's unlikely they can win the championship. From Max's perspective, he's a driver capable of achieving results in nearly any situation. I don't think many teams wouldn't be interested in him if he showed interest in switching. However, I also believe that this whole story is being amplified too much by the press, and I think that during the British race weekend, such rumors may have distracted some team members. Whether Max will move to another team or not – ultimately, that's his decision, and whether his current contract allows it or not is another matter."
