Steiner: Something is always going wrong at Ferrari.

Former Haas F1 team principal Günther Steiner believes Ferrari's problems are systemic…

Günther Steiner: "In Singapore, because of brake problems Ferrari's drivers had to coast. And I think these were not problems with the brakes themselves, but with their cooling. It's not that the brake manufacturer did something wrong — Ferrari didn't cope.

Lewis Hamilton isn't used to these brakes; he's used to something else and can't adapt. For a driver, the brakes are the part of the car that inspires confidence. It makes sense: if you don't know how effective your brakes are, you can't get the maximum out of the car because you don't know what to expect from them. And that can seriously undermine confidence.

There's always something, you know? That's why they haven't won championships for a long time. The car is pretty good… but something is always going wrong at Ferrari."
