The stewards of the Miami Grand Prix reviewed Alex Albon's actions in the first qualifying session for the sprint and concluded that the Williams driver had violated track limits at turn six. As a result, his best lap in the first session, 1:30.988 seconds, which allowed him to advance to the second part, was disqualified. Following that, all of Alex's laps in the second session were also disqualified, as he should not have participated in it. As a result of the decisions made, Albon lost positions in the qualifying protocol, dropping from fourteenth to nineteenth place.
