Ross Brawn has returned to motorsport with a MotoGP team.

One of the most successful and decorated engineers in Formula 1 history, Ross Brawn, has returned to motorsport. The British specialist has joined the Board of Directors of the Pramac team, competing in MotoGP.

Ross Brawn played a key role in the successes of the Benetton and Ferrari teams in the 1990s and 2000s, winning seven titles alongside Michael Schumacher. In 2009, Ross's team Brawn GP became the Constructors' Cup winner in its only season, while Jenson Button won the title.

After that, Ross Brawn led Mercedes, and in 2017 took the position of Managing Director of Formula 1, which he left at the end of 2022. Since then, Brawn had not been involved in motorsport, but now he has returned.

Ross Brawn: "Motorsport has always been about people, teamwork, and the constant pursuit of becoming better. I look forward to supporting Paolo Campinoti and his team, helping wherever my experience may be useful.

Pramac has built an impressive team with a strong character and great ambitions, and I am happy to be a part of its future."

Paolo Campinoti, head of Pramac: "In addition to his incredible career and successes in Formula 1, Ross is someone with whom we have shared friendship and great mutual respect for many years. I am sure his perspective on the sport, experience, and winner's mentality will help Pramac continue to grow and develop."
