Honda assured that they maintain composure and unity.

After the stage in Barcelona, where both Aston Martin cars retired for various reasons, Mike Krack stated in a press conference that it is "hard to come to terms" with such results and confirmed that the team is making every effort to create a significantly upgraded version of the AMR26 throughout the season. As the team's racing director from Silverstone emphasized, the complexity of the problem lies in its comprehensive nature, affecting all areas of the car. Following this, Honda's engine specialists, who work closely with Aston Martin's experts, had their say.

The British division of Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) released the following statement yesterday:

"Our results on the track with Aston Martin F1 do not meet the objectives set for us this season, but Honda Racing Corporation maintains absolute determination. This week, Koji Watanabe, president of HRC, visited the British office to ensure that the relentless work within the racing program continues and personally spoke with our specialists. Progress in Formula 1 cannot be achieved through a single breakthrough – it can only be attained through thousands of hours of work from our engineers and technicians. We are a unified global organization, with divisions located in Sakura, Japan, and Milton Keynes, UK. We maintain focus and unity and continue to work hard."

The statement from HRC does not mention when the results of these joint efforts with Aston Martin will become noticeable, but the team previously reported that a significantly revised AMR26 should be ready for one of the summer stages of the season – either the Hungarian or the Belgian Grand Prix.
