Esteban Ocon: I hope the team will resolve the issues soon.
Qualifying 13th and 15th, Haas F1 drivers Oliver Berman and Esteban Ocon made it to the second part of qualifying for the first time since the Miami Grand Prix with both cars.
Oliver Berman (13th): "On one hand, I'm satisfied with my performance – I had a great lap in the first session and felt that the second one was just as good. I don't think we could have achieved more from the car, but I'm still a bit disappointed.
In the last five races, I've never felt this good behind the wheel of this car, but the speed has remained at the same level. I always start qualifying thinking that if everything goes well and I have a great lap, I might create some miracle and make it to the final, but today it became clear that we are still far from that goal."
Esteban Ocon (15th): "I had a very good lap that allowed me to advance to the second session. Thanks to the team, who did an excellent job overnight, replacing many parts on my car.
We are still facing some issues that we don't know the causes of, and we need to sort them out. I hope this doesn't create difficulties for us in tomorrow's race, but I believe the team will resolve these problems as soon as possible."
