Bottas: We will try to compete with Aston Martin and Williams.
For the second weekend in a row, the Cadillac team occupies the last row of the starting grid in full force. However, Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez hope to challenge their rivals in the race.
Valtteri Bottas (21st): "In the sprint, we hoped to compete with Aston Martin, but it seems they had the advantage. We'll see how we look tomorrow over the long distance, but I hope we can fight with them and even with Williams.
As for qualifying, it's disappointing to see us at the back of the pack, but the gap isn't that big, so we'll continue to improve the car and do everything we can in tomorrow's race."
Sergio Perez (22nd): "In the sprint, my car had a hydraulic leak, but the team did a great job fixing everything, and I was able to show a promising pace. It's a shame that due to setup changes, we were less competitive in qualifying compared to the sprint when we managed to extract much more from the car. We'll see what we can do tomorrow, but the pace shown in the sprint is encouraging.
Marcin Budkowski has just joined the team, but he has a wealth of experience and leadership qualities. I'm confident that in the upcoming races, he will help us move in the right direction."
