Liam Lawson: Formula 1 cost me happiness
Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson participated in the High Performance podcast, where he shared among other things that his performances in Formula 1 have taken away his happiness.
Liam Lawson: "It probably sounds a bit sad, but if we're talking about what I've lost since starting to race in Formula 1, it's probably just happiness.
I think people from the outside might think that you are much happier being a Formula 1 driver. And I fully understand how lucky I am to be here. But because of how focused and results-oriented we are, I feel like I can't truly be satisfied until I achieve the goal I've set.
So I have a sense of losing the overall feeling of happiness. Of course, I have happy moments. It's not that I'm constantly unhappy, but overall, that's the state I'm in right now."
