Oliver Berman: The start didn't go well again.
At Silverstone, Haas F1 once again failed to score points – this is already the third consecutive race…
Oliver Berman (13th, 12th after Carlos Sainz's penalty): "The start didn't go well again – just like in the last two races. Everything went according to plan on my side, so we need to figure out the reasons. We're lacking stability. The start in the sprint was good, but today it was terrible. I just fell back, I got spun around at Brooklands, and after that, I was at the back of the race, the car lacked the speed to recover.
It was difficult to drive in the wake of other cars, then I managed to find clear track and show good pace, but still – we are not fast enough."
Esteban Ocon (14th, 13th after Carlos Sainz's penalty): "Making my way from 17th to 11th on the first lap was nice – I overtook a lot of cars on the outside. Then I gradually fell back, but I still fought with Williams and a few other cars.
When the VSC was announced, I thought I had a chance, but it lasted only five seconds, and when I came into the pits hoping to make a pit stop without losing time, the race had already resumed.
There was a delay with the right rear wheel during the pit stop. The race wasn't ideal, but the car behaved normally, and I didn't have the tire wear issues that hindered me in the last races. We need to achieve greater speed to score points."
