Raymond Vermeulen: “Our goal is to see this adventure through to the end together with Red Bull. The spirit of Red Bull and Verstappen go well together. But we need a car that allows us to fight for the lead. This has always been a priority. Max is not born to fight in the midfield.
We have time to focus on the speed of the car. This is not related to whether we are leaving or staying. We have agreements, and we will stick to them. Loyalty has always been our starting point, for both sides. But ultimately, it is important to have the ability to fight for wins.”
